When you leave comments on our site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with your IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture becomes visible to the public alongside your comment.


If you upload images to 3DReefs, we advise against including embedded location data (EXIF GPS) as visitors can download and extract this information. Sharing your marine conservation projects and coral restoration efforts is inspiring, but privacy is paramount.
