UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — With the goal of educating students about sustainability and creating a more sustainable campus environment, the Penn State College of Earth and Mineral Sciences (EMS) Student Sustainability Council is leading the way in the world We are developing a new museum series that will focus on our sustainability efforts. The Student Sustainability Council will host an opening reception on Wednesday, February 7th from 4:30pm to 6pm to kick off the series. The exhibition “We Are the Hope for a Sustainable Future” will be held for the first time in his EMS Museum & Art Gallery on the first floor of the Deike Building on the University Park campus. This exhibit, co-created with EMS students, is the first in a series designed to highlight the efforts of individuals and organizations to create a more sustainable future.
